अब इन वाक्यो पर विचार करें1. यदि तुम पढोगे, तो पास करोगे ।
2. यदि वह आएगा, तो मै उसकी मदद करूँगा ।
3. अगर आप पाठ याद नही करेंगे, तो शिक्षक आपको पीटेंगे ।ऐसे वाक्यों के दो भाग होते हैं ।  पहले भाग मे “यदि/अगर” का प्रयोग रहता है और इससे शर्त का बोध होता है तथा दूसरे भाग से परिणाम का भाव व्यक्त होता है  ।  हिंदी भाषा के ऐसे वाक्यो के दोनो भाग भविष्यतकाल मे रहते हैं  ।  परंतु अंग्रेजी मे शर्त वाले आश्रित उपवाक्य की क्रिया का अनुवाद – Simple Present Tense मे होता है और वह भाग जिससे परिणाम का भाव व्यक्त होता है उसका अनुवाद Simple Future Tense की क्रिया से होता है ।

1. if you read, you will pass.
2. if he comes, i shall help him.
3. if you don’t remember your lesson, the teacher will beat you.

Example of future Indefinite tense

अगर वे मेहनत करेंगे, तो धनी बन जाएँगे ।
if they work hard, they will be rich.

अगर आप दवा लेंगे, तो अच्छे हो जाएँगे ।
if you take medicine, you will get well.

अगर आप देश की सेवा करेंगे, तो देश आपको याद रखेगा ।
if you serve the country, the country will remember you.

Note : ‘तो’ के लिए then का प्रयोग न करें, सिर्फ comma ( , ) से काम चल जाएगा ।

यदि आप भीख मांगेंगे, तो ज्यादा पैसे कमाएँगे ।
if you beg, you will earn more money.
यदि तुम दवा लोगे, तो शीघ्र अच्छे हो जाओगे ।
if you take medicine, you will get well soon.
अगर वर्षा होगी, तो स्कूल नही खुलेगा ।
if it rain, the school will not start.
यदि राम पटना जाएगा, तो श्याम से मिलेगा ।
if Ram goes to patna, Ram will meet shyam.
यदि तुम मुझे गाली दोगे, तो मै तुम्हे पीटूंगा ।
if you abuse me, i shall beat you.

अगर मै पटना जाऊँगा, तो गोलघर देखूँगा ।
if i go to patna, i shall see the golghar.
यदि तुम पढोगे, तो मै तुम्हारी मदद करूँगा ।

अगर तुम कोशिश करोगे, तो जीत जाओगे ।
if you try, you will win.
यदि वर्षा होगी, तो किसान सुखी होंगे ।
if it rain, the farmer will happy.
अगर आप तेज दौड़ेगे, तो जीत जाएगे ।
if you run fast, you will win.
अगर तुम एक पैसा दोगे, तो वह दस लाख देगा ।
if you give a rupee, he will give ten lakh.
अगर आप बस से जाएँगे, तो शीघ्र पहुंच जाएँगे ।

 Simple Future Tense Overview:

Simple Future Tense is used to describe actions that will happen in the future.

Structure:

  • Affirmative: Subject + will/shall + base verb
  • Negative: Subject + will/shall + not + base verb
  • Interrogative: Will/Shall + subject + base verb?

 Exercise 167: Fill in the blanks with the correct form of the verb

  1. I __________ (go) to the market tomorrow.
    Answer: will go

  2. She __________ (visit) her grandmother next week.
    Answer: will visit

  3. They __________ (complete) their homework tonight.
    Answer: will complete

 Exercise 168: Change the following sentences into negative form

  1. I will buy a new car.
    Answer: I will not buy a new car.

  2. They will visit the museum.
    Answer: They will not visit the museum.

  3. She will complete the project.
    Answer: She will not complete the project.

  4. We will go for a picnic.
    Answer: We will not go for a picnic.

  5. He will attend the class.
    Answer: He will not attend the class.

 Exercise 169: Change the following sentences into interrogative form

  1. She will cook dinner tonight.
    Answer: Will she cook dinner tonight?

  2. They will play football tomorrow.
    Answer: Will they play football tomorrow?

  3. He will visit his uncle.
    Answer: Will he visit his uncle?

  4. We will complete the assignment.
    Answer: Will we complete the assignment?

  5. You will help me with this work.
    Answer: Will you help me with this work?

 Key Points to Remember:

  • Use ‘will’ with all subjects (I, We, You, They, He, She, It) for future tense.
  • For questions, will comes before the subject.
  • For negatives, use will not or won’t.
