Change Imperative Sentences Into Indirect Speech, Change Direct to Indirect Speech Special Rules-2

Imperative Sentences : आदेशसूचक वाक्य

ऐसा वाक्य जिससे आज्ञा देने, अनुरोध करने, सलाह देने तथा निर्देश देने के भाव का बोध हो उसे Imperative Sentence कहते हैं ।Imperative Sentences से प्रायः Order,  Advice Command, या Request का बोध होता है ।

Imperative Sentences  को  Indirect Speech मे निम्नलिखित प्रकार से Change किया जाता है ।

1. Reporting Verb ( said ) को वाक्य के अर्थ के अनुसार बदलते हैं ।

आज्ञा के लिए   Ordered
सलाह के लिए    Advised
अनुरोध के लिए   Requested
निर्देश के लिए    Commanded

Note : यदि वाक्य मे कुछ समझ मे न आए तो asked लगाते हैं

2. Direct Speech मे  Reporting Verb ( said ) के बाद Object रहे या फिर न रहे,लेकिन Indirect Speech मे Reporting Verb के बाद एक उपयुक्त Object अवश्य लगायें । पूरे वाक्य के अर्थ के अनुसार ।

3. Inverted Comma के स्थान पर to लगाये ।।। और याद रखे, to के बाद हमेशा Verb का first form ( V1 ) आयेगा । और यदि वाक्य Negative हो तो not to लगाएँ ।

4. यदि Inverted Comma के अंदर Please / kindly अंदर इत्यादि जैसे शब्द आए तो उसका लोप कर दें ।

उसने मुझसे कहा कि बाजार जाओ ।
He said to me,” Go to market.”
He told/asked me to go to market.
मैने अपने नौकर से कहा कि एक गिलास दूध लाओ ।
I said to my servant,” Bring a glass of milk.”
I ordered my servant to bring a glass of milk.
राम ने सीता से कहा कि कृपया मुझे दस रूपए दीजिए ।
Ram said to sita,” Please give me ten rupees.”
Ram requested sita to give him ten rupees.
मैने मोहन से कहा कि कृपया मेरी मदद कीजिए ।
I said to mohan,” Please help me.”
I requested mohan to help me.
मैने पिताजी से कहा कि मुझे एक साइकिल खरीद दीजिए
I said to father,” Buy me a bicycle.”
I requested father to buy me a bicycle.
उसने मुझसे कहा कि प्रतिदिन व्यायाम करो ।
He said to me,” Take exercise everyday.
He advised me to take exercise everyday.
डॉक्टर ने मुझसे कहा कि अपने स्वास्थ्य पर ध्यान दो ।
The doctor said to me,” Take care of your health.”
The doctor advised me to take care of my health.
पिताजी ने कहा कि सदा सच बोला करो ।
Father said,” Always speak the truth.”
Father advised me to speak the truth.
शिक्षक ने हमलोगों से कहा कि वर्ग मे मत हँसो ।
The teacher said to us,” Don’t laugh in the class.”
The teacher told us not to laugh in the class.
मैने उससे कहा कि वहाँ मत जाओ ।
I said to him,” Don’t go there.”
I told/asked him not to go there.
राम ने मुझसे कहा कि उसे मत पीटो ।
Ram said to me,” Don’t beat him.”
Ram told/asked me not to beat him.
उसने मुझसे कहा कि मुझे गाली नहीं दो ।
He said to me,” Don’t abuse me.”
He told/asked me not to abuse him.

उसने मुझसे कहा कि क्या आप मेरे दोस्त नहीं हैं ।
He said to me,” Are you not my friend ?”

I asked him,” Do you know my brother ?”
I asked him if he knew my brother.
राम ने मुझसे पूछा कि क्या तुम परीक्षा नहीं दोगे ।
Ram asked me,” Will you not appear at the examination ?”
Ram asked me if I should not appear at the examination.
उसने मुझसे कहा कि क्या आप नहीं सो रहे थे ।
He said to me,” Were you not sleeping ?”
He asked me if I had not been sleeping.
मैनें उससे कहा कि क्या तुम्हें यह काम करना चाहिए ।
I said to him,” Should you do this work ?”
I asked him if he should do that work.
उसने मुझसे कहा कि तुम कहाँ जाना चाहते हो ।
He said to me,” Where do you want to go ?”
He asked me where I wanted to go.
उनलोगों ने मुझसे पूछा कि तुम कहाँ से आ रहे हो ।
They asked me,” Where are you coming from ?”
They asked me where I was coming from.
मैने उससे पूछा कि तुम्हारा क्या नाम है ।
I asked him,” What is your name ?”
I asked him what his name was.
राम ने मुझसे कहा कि तुम क्या हो ।
Ram said to me,” What are you ?”
Ram asked me what I was.
मेरे पिताजी ने मुझसे कहा कि प्रतिदिन व्यायाम किया करो
My father said to me,” Take exercise everyday.”
My father Advised me to take exercise everyday.
मैने उससे कहा कि कृपया मेरी मदद करें ।
