Lesson 18 – Use of “Shall be” / “Will be” in Affirmative Sentences (Part 3)

RAPIDEX English Speaking Course – Translation Style

Structure:

Person	Helping Verb	Structure
I / We	shall be	subject + shall be + verb (ing)
You / He / She / They / It / Name	will be	subject + will be + verb (ing)

Used for: Future Continuous Tense
Shows action in progress at a certain time in the future

Examples with Hindi to English Translation

Affirmative Sentences:

मैं पढ़ता रहूंगा।
I shall be reading.
हम स्कूल जा रहे होंगे।
We shall be going to school.
तुम खेल रहे होगे।
You will be playing.
वह खाना बना रही होगी।
She will be cooking food.
वे टीवी देख रहे होंगे।
They will be watching TV.
राम सो रहा होगा।
Ram will be sleeping.
मैं पत्र लिख रहा होऊंगा।
I shall be writing a letter.
तू नाच रहा होगा।
You will be dancing.
बच्चे पार्क में खेल रहे होंगे।
Children will be playing in the park.
हम लोग फिल्म देख रहे होंगे।
We shall be watching a movie.

Key Notes:

“Shall” is more traditional and mostly used with I and We, but in modern English, “will” is commonly used for all subjects.
Use verb + ing (present participle) to show action in progress in the future.
These are future continuous tense sentences — action that will be happening at a specific time in future.
