Adjective of Quality (Part-4)
What is an Adjective of Quality?
An Adjective of Quality describes the nature, kind, or quality of a noun. It answers the question: What kind of?
Examples:
- Intelligent boy
- Brave soldier
- Beautiful painting
- Cold weather
Usage of Adjectives of Quality
Before a Noun
- She is a kind woman.
- They live in a big house.
After a Linking Verb (Be, Seem, Look, etc.)
- The sky is blue.
- He looks tired.
Degrees of Comparison in Adjectives of Quality
Degree | Example | Usage |
