Adjective of Number (Part-6)

 What is an Adjective of Number?

An Adjective of Number indicates the number or position of a noun in a series. It answers the question: “How many?” or “In what order?”

Examples:

• Five students won the competition.
• I have seen this movie twice.
• She got the first prize.

 Types of Adjective of Number

Definite Numeral Adjectives (Indicates exact number)

• One, two, three… (Cardinal numbers)
   Example: “I have two pens.”

Indefinite Numeral Adjectives (Indicates an approximate number)
