यदि वाक्य ‘ क्या ‘ से शुरू हो, तो वाक्य का अनुवाद Did से शुरू करें । ध्यान रहे कि Did वाक्य मे आने पर V1 का ही प्रयोग होगा अर्थात वाक्य का Structure इस प्रकार होगा ।

( a ) Did + Subject + V1 ?
( b ) Did + Subject + not + V1 ?
