How to Use of Infinitive With Verb “to be” it’s Structure, Examples & Exercise Solution of Oxford Current English Translation

पहचान : Verb ” to be ” का रूप Present Tense में am / is / are ,  Past Tense मे  was / were  और   future Tense मे shall be/will be होता है । अब आप यहाँ Verb ” to be ” के साथ infinitive के प्रयोग को देखें और समझे । infinitive का अर्थ है to + verb ( to go, to eat, to dance etc )

Structure of Infinitive With Verb ” to be “

Subject + am/is/are + infinitive.
Subject + am/is/are + infinitive + ot.

Solved Example of Verb ” to be “

मै जाने को हूँँ ।      i am to go.
मै जाने वाला हूँँ ।      i am to go.

सीता पढने को है ।     Sita is to read.

सीता पढने वाली है ।     Sita is to read.

गाड़ी आने को है ।      The train is to come.

गाड़ी आने वाली है ।      The train is to come.ऐसे वाक्यो से यह बोध होता है कि कोई काम भविष्य मे पूर्वनिर्धारित कार्यक्रम के अनुसार होगा ।

Rules of Negative & Interrogative Sentence of Verb ” to be “

पहचान : Negative Sentence बनाने के लिए am/is/are के बाद not का प्रयोग करें । और Interrogative Sentence बानाने के लिए am/is/are को Subject के पहले लगाऐ । तथा Interrogative with Negative Sentence बनाने के लिए पहले am/is/are दे फिर Subject दे और फिर not का प्रयोग करें । नीचे दिए गए Structure को देखें ।

Structure of Verb ” to be ” Negative & Interrogative Sentence

am/is/are + Subject + infinitive.
Subject + am/is/are + not + infinitive.
am/is/are + Subject + not + infinitive.

मै नही जाने को हूँँ ।     i am not to go.

Rules of Verb “to be” W.h Question Sentence

यदि प्रश्नवाचक वाक्यो मे कब, क्यो, कैसे, क्या, कहाँ इत्यादि रहे, तो सबसे पहले when/why/how/what/where दें,  फिर Subject के अनुसार am/is/are दें । तब Subject और अंत मे infinitive दें । अर्थात वाक्य का यह Structure होगा ।

w.h word + am/is/are + Subject + infinitive ?
w.h word + am/is/are + Subject + not + infinitive ?

Note : जब वाक्य मे कर्ता के पहले ” क्या ” रहता है तब What का प्रयोग नही होता है, परंतु कर्ता के बाद ” क्या ” रहने पर प्रायः what का प्रयोग होता है ।
