Examples of infinitive with had

1. मुझे खेलना था ।     i had to play.
2. मुझे खेलना पड़ा ।     i had to play.

3. मुझे काम करना पड़ा ।  i had to work.
4. मुझे काम करना था ।      i had to work.

5. उसे पढाना पड़ा ।     He had to teach.
6. उसे भीख मांगनी पड़ी ।     He had to beg.

इस प्रकार के वाक्यों को इस Structure के अनुसार बनाया जाता है ।

Subject + had + infinitive.

Infinitive का अर्थ होता है,  ” to + v1 ” ( to eat, to go, to laugh etc )

Negative Sentence बनाने के लिए had के बाद not दें तथा interrogative के लिए had को Subject के पहले रखें । जैसे
