राम मेरा दोस्त है । वह दसवें वर्ग मे पढता है ।
Ram is my friend. He reads in class tenth.
वह हिंदी जानता है, लेकिन अंग्रेजी नही जानता ।
He knows hindi but he doesn’t know english. OR
He knows hindi but doesn’t know english.
मै उसे अंग्रेजी पढाना चाहता हूँँ । i want to teach him english.
राम एक तेज विधार्थी रहा है, इसलिए उसे अधिक कठिनाईयो का सामना नही करना पड़ेगा ।
Ram has been an intelligent student, so he will not have to face a lot of difficulties.
उसे हिन्दी का अच्छा ज्ञान है । He has a good knowledge of hindi.
उसने हिंदी मे कविताएँ भी लिखी है । He has also written poems in hindi.
वह संस्कृत का अध्ययन करने जा रहा है ।
He is going to study of sanskrit.
उसने हमेशा मेरी मदद की है । He has always helped me.
मै भी वर्षो से उसकी मदद करता रहा हूँँ । i have also been helping him for years.
मै आज सुबह से उसे अंग्रेजी पढा रहा हूँँ । i have been teaching him english since today morning.
राम के पिता एक हाकिम हैं । Ram’s father is an officer.
उन्हे सुबह से शाम तक काम करना पड़ता है । इसलिए उनके पास राम के लिए समय नही है ।
He has to work since morning to evening. So he has no time for Ram.
लेकिन मेरे पास राम के लिए समय है । but i have time for Ram.
राम को अंग्रेजी पढनी है । Ram has to read english.
वह इसके लिए तैयार है । He is ready for it.
उसे अंग्रेजी का अच्छा ज्ञान होगा । He will have a good knowledge of english.
मैने उसे पढाने का वादा किया है । i have promised to teach him.
इसलिए मैने उसे समय दिया है । So, i have given him time.
परंतु उसे नियमित होना पडे़गा । but He will have to be regular.
उसे समय पर आना होगा । He will have to come at time.

तुमने क्या किया है ? What have you done ?
क्या आप राम को जानते हैं ? Do you know Ram ?
राम पटना मे रहता है । Ram lives in patna.
वह एक साड़ी खरीदने जा रहा है । He is going to buy a saree.
वह साड़ी क्यो खरीदना चाहता है ? Why does he want to buy the saree ?
वह साड़ी खरीदने कहाँ जा रहा है ? Where is he going to buy the saree ?
आप इसके बारे मे नही जानते । you don’t know about it/this.
क्या आप जानते हैं कि मैने एक रेडियो खरीदा है ?
Do you know that i have bought a radio ?
क्या आपका भाई जानता है कि आप सुबह से खेल रहे हैं ?
Does your brother know that you have been playing since morning ?
वे लोग जानते हैं कि मैने कुछ नही किया है ।
They know that i have not done anything.
तुम कैसे जानते हो कि सीता कल आ रही है ?
How do you know that Sita is coming tomorrow ?
वह वर्षो से कोशिश कर रहा है लेकिन उसे सफलता नही मिली है ।
He has been trying for years but (he) has not got success.
उसने क्या करना चाहा है ? What has he wanted to do ?
क्या तुम नही जानते हो कि सुबह से वर्षा हो रही है ?
Don’t you know that it has been raining since morning ?
राम कैसे एक अच्छा विधार्थी रहा है ? How has Ram been a good student ?
वह दो वर्षों से अच्छा विधार्थी रहा है । He has been a good student for two years.
उसने कभी अच्छा आदमी बनने की कोशिश नही की है ।
He has never tried to be a good man.
आप उसे कब से जानते हैं ? मै उसे दो वर्षो से जानता हूँँ ।
Since when/for how long do you know him ? i have known him for two years.
