The Horse That Never Gave Up
Once upon a time, in a small village, there was a farmer who had an old but strong horse. One day, while wandering in the fields, the horse accidentally fell into a deep pit. The farmer and the villagers tried their best to pull him out, but the pit was too deep, and the horse was too heavy.
After several failed attempts, the villagers told the farmer, “The horse is old now, and it will take too much effort to rescue him. Let him go.” Heartbroken but feeling helpless, the farmer decided to bury the horse in the pit to end his suffering.
He and the villagers started shoveling dirt into the pit. At first, the horse panicked. But soon, he realized something important—every time the dirt fell on his back, he could shake it off and step up!
As more dirt came in, the horse continued to shake it off and step up. Slowly, he began to rise higher. The villagers were amazed! Instead of being buried, the horse used the dirt to climb out of the pit.
Finally, after great effort, the horse stepped out of the pit—stronger than ever! The villagers cheered, and the farmer hugged his brave companion with tears of joy.
Moral of the Story:
Life will throw dirt on you—challenges, failures, and difficulties. But if you shake it off and step up, every obstacle will become a stepping stone toward success. Never give up, and keep moving forward!
