तुम मेरे दुश्मन हो । You are my enemy.
मै तुम्हारा दुश्मन हूँ, क्योंकि मेरे पास तुम्हारे लिए पैसे नहीं हैं ।
i am your enemy because i have no money for you.
क्या तुम्हारे पास मेरे लिए कोई ( any ) समय नहीं है ? Have you not any time for me ?
मेरे पास नाम, प्रसिद्धि और पैसे हैं । i have name, fame and money.
तुम्हारे पास क्या है ? Why have you ?
आप क्यों तैयार नहीं हैं ? Why are you not ready ?
मै तैयार नहीं हूँ, क्योंकि मेरे पास बहुत काम है । i am not ready because i have a lot of work.

मेरे पास इस काम के लिए समय नहीं है । i have no time for this work.
क्या वे पुस्तकें अच्छी नहीं हैं ? Are those books not good ?
हाँ, वे अच्छी हैं, परंतु मेरे पास खरीदने के लिए पैसे नहीं हैं ।
Yes, those are good but i have no money to buy.
तुम्हारे पास पैसे क्यों नहीं है ? Why have you no money ?
मेरे पास करने के लिए काम नहीं है । i have no work to do.
तुम्हारे पास काम है, लेकिन तुम्हें इस बात का ज्ञान नहीं है ।
You have work but you have no knowledge about this matter.
क्या रीता को सुंदरता नहीं है ? Has Rita no beauty ?

रीता को सुंदरता है, लेकिन यह सुंदरता बेकार है । क्योंकि उसे घमंड है ।
Rita has beauty but this beauty is useless because She has pride.
अगर आपके पास मात्र बीo एo की डिग्री है और कोई विशेष ज्ञान नहीं है, तो यह डिग्री बेकार है ।
if you have only a B.A degree and no special knowledge, then this degree is useless.
क्या आपके पास देश के विकास के लिए समय है ? हाँ, मेरे पास है ।
Have you time for the development of the country ? Yes, i have time.

मै बहुत व्यस्त हूँ, परंतु देश के लिए हमेशा तैयार था और तैयार रहूँगा ।
i am very busy but i was ready for the country and will always be ready.

तब आप एक अच्छे व्यक्ति हैं । then, you are a good person.
मेरे पास खेलने के लिए वक्त नहीं है । i have no time to play.
आपके पास खेलने के लिए समय कैसे नहीं है ? How have you no time to play ?
आपको एक कार क्यों नहीं है ? Why have you not a car ?
मेरे पास कार नहीं है, क्योंकि मुझे इसकी जरूरत नही है, और वास्तव मे मेरे पास पैसे भी नहीं है ।
i have not a car because i have no need of it. and as a matter of fact, i have no money also.
क्या भारत को साहस नहीं है ? Has india no courage ?

मेरे पास पैसे हैं लेकिन मुझे आराम नहीं है । i have money but no rest.
क्या मै एक डॉक्टर बनूँगा ? Shall i be a doctor ?
तुम एक डॉक्टर नहीं बनोगे, क्योंकि तुम्हारे पास इसके लिए पैसे नहीं हैं ।
You will not be a doctor because you have no money for it.
चूंकि तुम्हारे पास पैसे नहीं हैं, तुम्हारा कोई भविष्य नहीं है ।
Since you have no money you have no any future.
क्या इसमें शक्ति है । Has it straight ?
क्या उसके भाषण मे दम/बल है । has his speech force ?
क्या विधार्थी जीवन मे आनंद नहीं है ? is there no pleasure in a student life ?/ Has a student life no pleasure ?
क्या विवाहित जीवन में स्वतंत्रता नहीं है ? is there no freedom in a married life ?/ Has a married life no freedom ?

Use of had & Mixed Exercise Solution

आपके पास मेरे लिए क्या था ? What had you for me ?
मेरे पास तुम्हारे लिए कुछ नहीं था । i had nothing for you.
तब आप कैसे मेरे दोस्त थे ? Then How were you my friend ?
मै तुम्हारा दोस्त नहीं था, तुम मेरे दोस्त थे । i was not your friend, you were my friend.
तुम्हारे दिल मे क्या था ? What was there in your hurt ?
तुम्हें कब मेरे लिए प्यार और सहानुभूति थी ? When had you love and sympathy for me ?
मुझे थी और अभी तक है । i had and i have till now.

तुम्हारे दिमाग में शांति थी । There was peace in your mind./ You had peace in your mind.
तुम तैयार क्यों नहीं थी ? Why were you not ready ?
मै तैयार नहीं थी, क्योंकि मेरे पास समय नहीं था, मुझे इरादा भी नहीं था ।
i was not ready because i had no time, i had also no intention.
तुम्हारे पास इस काम को करने के लिए कैसे समय नहीं था ?
How had you no time to do this work ?
क्या तुम्हारे पास कलम नहीं थी ? थी, परंतु इसमे स्याही नहीं थी ।
Had you not a pen ? i had, but there was no ink in it.
क्या तुम्हें कलम की जरूरत नहीं थी ? Had you no need of a pen ?

तुम्हें पागलपन था । वह मुझमें था । क्योंकि तुम मेरे दिमाग मे थे । you had madness. it was in me because you were in my mind.
मेरे पास यौवन नहीं था । i had no youth.
तुम्हारे दिमाग मे क्या था और इस समय तुम्हारे दिमाग मे क्या है ?
What was in your mind and What is in your mind now ?
आप गायें क्यों नहीं रखते थे । why had You no cows.
ऐसी बात नहीं है, मेरे पास गायें थी । The matter is not so, i had cows.
तुम तैयार नहीं थे, क्योंकि तुम्हें जाने की इच्छा नहीं थी ?
you were not ready, because you had no desire to go ?

Use of Shall have And Will have

मेरे पास हर चीज होगी । i shall have everything.
मुझे आनंद और शांति मिलेगी । i shall have pleasure and peace.
क्या तुम्हारे पास शांति रहेगी ? Will you have peace ?
चूंकि मेरे पास धैर्य है, मुझे शांति मिलेगी । Since i have patience, i shall have peace.
शादी के बाद तुम्हें एक नया जीवन मिलेगा । you will have a new life after marriage.
क्या तुम्हारे पास मेरे लिए समय होगा ? हाँ, मेरे पास समय रहेगा ।
Will you have time for me ? Yes, i shall have time.
क्या मुझे एक कार नहीं होगी ? Shall i not have a car ?

तुम्हारे पास एक कार अवश्य होगी । You shall have a car.
तुम एक डॉक्टर बनोगे और तुम्हारे पास सफलता होगी ।
You will be a doctor and you will have success.
हमारे देश के पास खाध समस्या क्यों नहीं रहेगी ? Why will our country have no food problem ?
हमारे पास कोई समस्या नहीं रहेगी, क्योंकि हमारे पास खेती के लिए आधुनिक उपकरण होंगे ।
We shall not have any problem because we shall have modern equipment for cultivation.
प्रत्येक के पास रोटी और काम होगा । Each will have bread and work.
आप क्यों थके नहीं थे ? Why were you not tired ?

मै थका नहीं था । i was not tired.
क्या आपको काम करने के लिए हमेशा प्रबल इच्छा रहेगी ?
Will you always have a strong desire to work ?
हाँ, ये मेरे पास रहेगी । yes, I shall have it.
आपके पास गायें थी, परंतु अब कोई गाय क्यों नहीं है ।
You had cows, but now why have you not any cow.
क्या आपके पास कोई जानवर नहीं है ? Have you not any animal ?
भारत के पास पर्याप्त तेल नहीं है, परंतु भविष्य में इसके पास पर्याप्त होगा ।
India hasn’t enough oil but in future it Will have enough.
मेरे पास कुछ नहीं है परंतु भगवान की दया से मेरे पास हर चीज होगी ।
i have nothing but i shall have everything by the mercy of god.

मै खुश हूँ, क्योंकि मेरे जीवन में शांति रहेगी । i am happy because there will be peace in my life./ i am happy because my life will have peace.

मुझे आपसे कोई समस्या नहीं रहेगी । i shall have no problem with you.
मुझे अभी कुछ समस्याएँ है, परंतु कुछ दिनो मे मै समस्याओं से मुक्त रहूँगा ।
Now i have some problems, but in some days i shall be free from problems.
मै तैयार नहीं रहूँगा, क्योंकि मेरे पास समय का अभाव होगा ।
i shall not be ready because i shall have lack of time.
मुझे ऐसा मौका मिलेगा जब दुनिया मेरे जेब मे होगी ।
i shall have such an opportunity when this world will be in my pocket.
क्या यह हमलोंगो का नहीं होगा ? Will it not be ours.

तुम्हारे दोस्त कैसे तैयार नहीं रहेंगे ? How will your friends not be ready ?
क्या ये तुम्हारे नहीं हैं ? Are these not yours ?
क्या राम महान नहीं है ? is Ram not great ?
वे लोग कैसे बुरे नहीं थे ? How were they not bad ?
राम की गाय कैसे अच्छी नहीं है ? How is Ram’s cow not good ?
ये कैसे तुम्हारे नहीं होंगे ? How will these not be yours ?
क्या यह उनलोगों का होगा ? Will it be theirs ?
ये तुम्हारे क्यों नहीं थे ? Why were these not yours ?
क्या चाय गर्म नहीं थी ? Was the tea not hot ?

Translation: Yes, those are good, but I have no money to buy them.

Exercise 67: Use of ‘had’

आपके पास मेरे लिए क्या था?
Translation: What had you for me?
मेरे पास तुम्हारे लिए कुछ नहीं था।
Translation: I had nothing for you.
तब आप कैसे मेरे दोस्त थे?
Translation: Then how were you my friend?
मैं तुम्हारा दोस्त नहीं था, तुम मेरे दोस्त थे।
Translation: I was not your friend; you were my friend.
तुम्हारे दिल में क्या था?
Translation: What was there in your heart?
तुम्हें कब मेरे लिए प्यार और सहानुभूति थी?
Translation: When had you love and sympathy for me?
मुझे थी और अभी तक है।
Translation: I had and I have till now.
तुम्हारे दिमाग में शांति थी।
Translation: There was peace in your mind.
तुम तैयार क्यों नहीं थे?
Translation: Why were you not ready?

Translation: Will you have peace?
चूंकि मेरे पास धैर्य है, मुझे शांति मिलेगी।
