How to Add Music and Theme to a Video

Step 1: Import Music & Theme Assets

1. Open Camtasia Studio.

2. Go to Media Bin (left panel).

3. Click on Import Media.

   • Select your music file (MP3, WAV, etc.).

   • You can also import theme elements like intros, backgrounds, logos, etc.

Step 2: Add Music to Timeline

1. Drag your imported music file to the timeline, below your video track.

2. Align it with your video or set a fade-in effect:

   • Right-click the track > Add Audio Point for volume adjustments.

3. To fade out:

   • Add two audio points toward the end and gradually reduce volume.

Step 3: Apply a Theme

Camtasia allows you to create and apply visual themes (color, fonts, logos).

1. Go to File > Manage Themes.

2. Click New Theme:

   • Set your brand colors, fonts, and logos.

3. Apply theme to:

   • Annotations (text styles)

   • Callouts

   • Lower thirds or intros

To use a theme:

• Select a callout or text box.

• In the Properties panel, apply the saved theme style.

Bonus Tips:

• Use Library > Music Tracks for royalty-free sounds.

Exporting the Final Video
