मुझे पटना किताब खरीदने जाना है ।    i have to go to patna to buy a book.
क्या आपको झूठ बोलना पड़ता है ?    Have you to tell a lie ?
हाँ, यह सच है कि मुझे कभी कभी झूठ बोलना पड़ता है ।     yes, it is true that i have to tell a lie sometimes.
मेरे पास दूसरा कोई उपाय नहीं है ।     i have not any other alternative.
मेरे पास यह समस्या है ।     i have this problem.
क्या आपको ऑफिस पैदल जाना पड़ता है ?    Have you to go to office on foot ?
हाँ, मै गरीब हूँ ।     yes, i am poor.
मेरे पास साइकिल नहीं है ।  i have no bicycle./i have not a bicycle.
मेरे पास रिक्शे के लिए पैसे नहीं हैं ।  i have no money for a rickshaw.

अतः मुझे पैदल जाना पड़ता है ।    So i have to go on foot.
मै इसके लिए उदास था परंतु अब नहीं हूँ ।    i was sad for it but  i am not now.
मेरे पास एक साइकिल अवश्य होगी ।     i well have a bicycle.
क्या आपको अपना समय बर्बाद करना पड़ता है ?    Have you to kill your time ?
हाँ, मेरे पास कुछ दिक्कतें हैं ।    yes, i have some difficulties.
क्या तुम्हें अपने दोस्तों के लिए प्यार है । हाँ, मुझे है । परंतु उन्हें नहीं है ।
Have you love for your friends. Yes, i have but they don’t have.
क्या आप शिक्षित नहीं हैं ?    Are you not educated ?
हाँ, मै शिक्षित नहीं हूँ ।    yes, i am not educated.
मेरे पास ज्ञान नहीं है । इसलिए मुझे काम करना पड़ता है ।
i have no knowledge,  so  i  have to work.

अब मुझे पढना है । मुझे अज्ञानता मे जीवन नहीं बिताना है ।
Now, i have to read. i have not to spend life in ignorance.
मुझे अंधेरे से बाहर निकलना है ।    i have to come out of darkness.
मै अशिक्षित नहीं रहूँगा ।   i shall not be uneducated.
वह समय दूर नहीं है, जब अशिक्षित महिलाओं को समझ होगी ।
The time is not far off when uneducated women will have understanding.
सिर्फ़ तभी भारत महान बनेगा और इसका नाम विश्व मे प्रसिद्ध होगा ।
Only then india will be great and its name will be famous in the world.
आपको क्यों कुछ नहीं करना पड़ता है ?     Why have you to do nothing ?
मुझे भगवान का दिया सब कुछ है ।    i have everything given by God.

इसलिए मुझे कुछ नहीं करना पड़ता है ।     So  i  have to do nothing.
ये गायें कैसे उनलोगों की हो जाएँँगी ?     How will these cows be theirs ?
क्या तुम्हारा अपना कथन तुम्हारे विरुद्ध होगा ?      Will your own statement be against you ?
अगर आपलोग मेहनती हैं तो आपलोग गरीब किसान नहीं रहेंगें ।
if you are laborious, you will not be poor farmers.
यह तुम्हारे लिए अच्छा रहेगा ।     it will be good for you.
अगर तुम भाग्यशाली नहीं हो तो तुम कैसे सफल रहोगे ।

कल शाम मे मुझे श्याम को दो रूपये देने पड़े ।   yesterday evening, i had to give/pay two rupees to shyam.
तुम्हें क्यों देने पड़े ?    Why had you to give/pay ?
मुझे देने पड़े, क्योंकि वह अभाव में था ।      i had to give/pay because he was in need.
उसकी मदद करने के लिए दूसरा कोई व्यक्ति नहीं था । सिर्फ़ मै ही वहाँ था ।
There was not any other man to help him. only i was there.
अतः यह मेरा कर्तव्य था जो मुझे करना पड़ा ।    So, it was my duty that  i  had to do.
देश के लिए गाँँधीजी को क्या करना पड़ा था ?     What had gandhiji to do for the country ?

उन्हें देश के लिए अपना सारा जीवन अर्पण करना पड़ा ।
He had to sacrifice his whole life for the country.
गाँँधीजी मे निर्देश करने की क्षमता थी ।     Gandhiji had power to guide.
यह उसी क्षमता का फल है कि भारत आज आजाद है ।
This is the result of the same power that india is independent today.
हमें गाँँधीजी के प्रति गहरी श्रद्धा है ।     We have deep respect for gandhiji.
मुझे यह करना पड़ा ।     i had to do this.
मुझे उस काम को करने का इरादा नहीं था, परंतु मुझे करना पड़ा ।
i had no intention of doing that work but i had to do.

आपको पत्र क्यों लिखना पड़ा ?    Why had you to write a letter ?
पत्र लिखना पड़ा, क्योंकि मै चिंतित और दुखी था ।
i had to write the letter because i was anxious and sad.
मुझे बहुत काम करना पड़ता था ।     i  had to do a lot of work.
परंतु अब नहीं करना पड़ता ।     but now i have not to do.
चूँँकि तुम्हारे पास पर्याप्त धन है, इसलिए तुम्हें कोई काम नहीं करना पड़ता ।
Since you have enough money, so you have not to do any work.
एक गरीब व्यक्ति लाचार होता है ।     A poor person / man is helpless.
उसे कड़ी मेहनत करनी पड़ती है ।     He has to do hard labour.
मुझे चिंता थी परंतु अब नहीं है ।     i had anxiety but now i don’t have.

तुम्हें यह काम क्यों करना पड़ेगा ?    Why will you have to do this work ?
मुझे यह काम करना पड़ेगा, क्योंकि मै गरीब हूँ ।     i shall have to do this work because i am poor.
क्या आप एक डॉक्टर बनना चाहते हैं ?     Do you want to be a doctor ?
अगर आपका जवाब हाँ है, तो इसके लिए आपको कड़ी मेहनत करनी होगी ।

राम और श्याम दोस्त हैंं । राम धनी आदमी है, लेकिन श्याम गरीब । राम अच्छा आदमी है उसे गरीबोंं के लिए सहानुभूति है ।
Ram and Shyam are friends. Ram is a rich man but Shyam is poor. Ram is a good man. He has sympathy for the poor.

राम – श्याम, तुम गरीब क्यों हो ।
Ram – Shyam, Why are you poor.
श्याम – मेरे पास पैसे नही हैंं ।
Shyam – I have no money.
राम – तुम्हारे पास पैसे क्यो नही हैंं ।
Ram – why have you no money.
श्याम – मेरे पिता एक गरीब किसान थे । उनके पास धन नही था । वे गरीब थे , मै गरीब हूँँ और मेरे बच्चे गरीब रहेगे ।
Shyam – My father was a poor farmer. He had no wealth. He was poor, I am poor and my children will be poor.

राम – तुम्हारा विचार बिल्कुल गलत है । तुम्हारे पास हिम्मत नही है । मेरे पिता गरीब थे परंतु मै धनी हूँँ ।
Ram – your idea is absolutely wrong. You have no courage. My father was poor but i am rich.

श्याम – मेरे पास बहुत सी दिक्कतेंं हैंं । मुझे बहुत काम करना पड़ता है । मुझे एक बड़े परिवार का बोझ सहन करना पड़ता है । मेरे पास पूँँजी नही है । मै कैसे धनी बनूँँगा ।
I have a lot of Problems. I have to do a lot of work. I have to bear the burden of a big family. I have no capital. How shall i be rich.

राम – हिम्मत सबसे बड़ी पूँँजी है । दुनिया मे कोई गरीब नही है । अगर तुम्हारे पास साहस और ईमानदारी है तो तुम अवश्य धनी बनोगे ।
Ram – Courage is the biggest capital. No one is poor in the world. if you have courage and honesty, you shall be rich.

श्याम – मै अवश्य धनी बनूँँगा । मेरे पास पैसे होगे । मेरे बच्चे गरीब नही रहेंंगे । उनके पास एक सुंदर घर होगा । परंतु, मुझे कड़ी मेहनत करनी होगी । मुझे अब कोई समस्या नही है, क्योंकि मेरे पास अब हिम्मत है ।

Shyam – I will be rich. I shall have money. My children will not be poor. They will have a beautiful house. but I shall have to do hard labour. I have no problem now because I have courage now.
