What are Emphatic Pronouns?
Emphatic pronouns are used to emphasize the noun or pronoun in a sentence. These pronouns are the same as reflexive pronouns but serve a different purpose – they add emphasis rather than acting as an object.
Emphatic Pronouns = Reflexive Pronouns
(Myself, Yourself, Himself, Herself, Itself, Ourselves, Themselves)
Examples of Emphatic Pronouns
Without Emphasis:
